Australian Paramedics Association NSW calls for more staff after officer grabbed by throat at Ingleburn Library

The Daily Telegraph reports today on the call for more officers made by Australian Paramedics Association NSW President, Steve Pearce. 

"Mr Pearce said the industry was understaffed and the union had been lobbying for some time for an extra 500 paramedics to be employed around Australia to ensure two paramedics attended each case to protect their safety.

"He made the comment after a woman, 25, was charged with common assault after the female paramedic was grabbed by the throat while trying to help a woman at the library last Tuesday."
