Event Security and MOD Teams Deliver a Safe and Secure Games

Whilst athletes from across the Commonwealth delivered a sporting spectacle in Glasgow, Maybo trained stewarding and security teams were working behind the scenes to maintain the safety and security of everyone involved

We're proud to have supported many of the security and events teams that worked so professionally in the background at the Games venues.

It has also been a pleasure to work with partners including Integer, Omni and Perseus in the successful training of 2,000 MOD personnel from across the armed services in preparation for their key role at the Games.

More than 20 Maybo certified trainers worked solidly during the two months leading up to the Games on this major project. The conflict management and physical intervention training was received with great enthusiasm from the military personnel, who gained qualifications that will help them in their current and future careers: a genuine legacy of the Games.

Maybo Chief Executive, Bill Fox said, "We are delighted to have been the programme of choice for security and MOD personnel at both the London 2012 Olympics and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. The professionalism of the employers, trainers and front line personnel we have worked with has been truly exceptional".
