More Than 600 Pupils Excluded From Aberdeen Schools in Past Year

More than 600 pupils were excluded from Aberdeen schools during the past academic year, according to the 'Evening Express'.

Figures from Aberdeen City Council have revealed that 636 pupils were excluded: 440 from secondary schools and 196 from primary education.

Physical assaults against staff were the reason for 18 exclusions and 32 were for assaults against another pupil. Verbal abuse accounted for 96 exclusions.
