Teachers not fully prepared to manage challenging behaviour

Teachers do not feel adequately prepared to manage difficult behaviours or classroom discipline by either their intial teacher training or CPD, a Teacher Support Network survey has found. 

The survey of 774 teachers across England and Wales, carried out in September 2014 revealed that 25% of those who responded had issues with behaviour management, classroom management, discipline, disruptive pupils.
