Passenger Transport

The transport sector is diverse and with millions of customer interactions across the country each day, there will inevitably be conflicts and personal safety concerns.

Staff often work remotely and sometimes alone and rarely know anything about the individuals they meet. Most conflict can be avoided through delivering a good standard of service and positive communication. There will, however, be situations that need careful handling, ranging from a dissatisfied, angry or vulnerable customer, to disruptive individuals and groups.

Knowing what to say and do in such situations can make all the difference for the staff member, the customer and the company. We help staff to ensure a positive and safer outcome to difficult and challenging interactions.

We can give guidance on all aspects of violence risk reduction from policy and risk assessment to innovative control measures.
