    As specialists in the reduction of violence, behaviours of concern and restrictive practices we are delighted to announce that Maybo is the Founding Sponsor of the inaugural Workplace Violence Reduction Awards 2025 (WVRAs).

    Dedicated to recognising excellence in reducing workplace violence in all its forms and across sectors, the WVRA’s will shine a spotlight on individuals and organisations that outperform in promoting safety and wellbeing in their services.

    Bill Fox, Chairman of Maybo explains:

    "These awards recognise outstanding performance by those who have made a positive difference for their employees and for the people their services support and/or interact with. This may involve the safety of lone workers, creation of safe spaces, reduction in behaviours of concern and/or use of restrictive practices."

    World Excellence Awards has a stellar reputation based on its rigorous independent awards judging, overseen by Professor Martin Gill.

    The awards will take place at Birmingham Metropole on 8th April 2025.

    The award categories have been selected to reflect some of the key elements of an effective violence reduction approach.

    Commenting on the launch of the awards, founder of World Excellence Awards, Professor Martin Gill said:
